Competing alongside 14 other schools from across the region, BHHS Choir students demonstrated their exceptional musicianship, preparation, and dedication, earning the most spots among the participating schools

The Barbers Hill High School Jazz Band made an impressive showing at the Region 19 Jazz Band Auditions on September 14 at Lee High School, earning 10 of the 23 available positions in the Region 19 Jazz Ensemble.

Barbers Hill ISD has once again earned top marks from the Texas Education Agency, receiving an overall A rating in the 2026 A–F Accountability Ratings. Every Barbers Hill campus also earned an A.

All students who operate a motor vehicle, including motorcycles, on school property must register their vehicles with the District by purchasing a student parking permit.

Barbers Hill High School's Eagle Educator Interns represented the district on the national stage at the Educators Rising National Conference and Competition, held June 19–24 in Portland, Oregon. The event brought together more than 3,000 student competitors from across the United States to showcase their teaching knowledge and skills

Now in its 27th year, the program continues to spotlight school districts and schools across the United States for their exemplary dedication to music education and efforts to ensure equitable access to music learning as part of a well-rounded education

Barbers Hill High School has officially completed a significant $75 million expansion, increasing the school's footprint by 30 percent and more than doubling its original size. The extensive project, driven by the Barbers Hill ISD’s growing student population, adds 150,000 square feet of new construction, renovates 32,000 square feet of existing space, and provides 73,000 square feet for 256 new parking spaces.
