On Saturday, April 5th, Senior Kase Cothren participated in the TCU Percussion Festival in Fort Worth, Texas. This prestigious event featured performances by concert percussion ensembles and soloists, alongside clinics and other educational opportunities.
On March 28th and 31st, Barbers Hill High School choir students competed at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation held at Deer Park High School. All six of our choirs received superior ratings for their outstanding performances.

Barbers Hill High School continues its legacy of excellence, winning the UIL Academics Championship for the 28th year in a row. Our talented students competed across multiple categories, showcasing their skills in writing, debate, STEM, and the arts.
The Barbers Hill UIL One Act Play Company had an outstanding performance at the District One Act Play Contest this Saturday, earning first-place rankings from all three judges and securing multiple individual awards.
On March 7th and 8th, seven Barbers Hill High School students made history by participating in their first-ever Model United Nations (Model UN) Conference at the British International School of Houston. Representing two countries and one supranational organization, they joined over 300 students from across the Houston area to address some of the world's most pressing global challenges.
Barbers Hill senior art students recently showcased their talents at the Protégé Art Competition at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, demonstrating their creativity and skill on a prestigious stage.
Barbers Hill High School senior Kindal Moreau won first place in the Open Girls 4H Sporting Clays Championship at the recent San Antonio Rodeo Junior Shoot Out, one of the largest youth shotgun competitions in Texas with just over 900 4H and FFA boys and girls competing for scholarships and prizes.
The Barbers Hill High School Eagle Robotics team is heading to the VEX VRC World Championship! Representing Texas Region 3, we’re one of just 14 teams from our region going to the event, which features teams from over 50 countries.
The Boys team—Kolby Stork, Tyler Joines, Brent Mauer, Carter Massengale, and Alexander Davis—has won their last 5 tournaments, including the Bearkat Invitational and the Presidents Day Invitational at Eagle Pointe. Kolby Stork placed 1st at Bearkat and tied for 2nd at Eagle Pointe. Brent Mauer placed 2nd at Bearkat, and Tyler Joines finished 3rd.
The Girls team—Ali Meyer, Payton Brock, Kambre Orlando, Kayden Reeves, and Kora Wells—finished in 5th place.
